Burlesque Musicality with special guest instructor Madame Mira!
Up your performance game by learning how to utilize your music to the max! We will cover connecting movements with musical instruments, how to have impactful teases and applaud worthy reveals, and improvising for musical breaks through improv exercises and a combo.
This class will be movement based with some chatting and note taking. Please wear clothes you can move in as well as a few pieces to play with. This can be a boa, gloves, panel skirt or even a sweatshirt, jacket, etc. Doesn't have to be fancy! For footwear-barefoot or dance shoes are fine. Bring water and something to take notes with! This class is beginner friendly and while it has a focus on burlesque, it is applicable for other performance mediums.
