Right Side Up - Inversions 101 w/ Alabaster Betty
THIS WORKSHOP WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE WHITE RABBIT CABARET.
Ever wanted to learn how to go upside down? What even is an inversion? Shoulder stands, handstands and the like are not just tricks, there is a technique to it. This workshop will use classical and contemporary modern dance techniques to help you learn how to connect to the floor. Focusing on the building blocks of inversion techniques to move in and out of the floor more freely, and with less strain on your body.
Please do NOT wear any lotions, body oils, or body makeup of any kind. Athletic activewear and bare feet. Kneepads if you have them, but not required.
For more experienced movers. Formal training in inversions is not required.
